About Dr. David L. Raffle, PhD, HSPP

David L. Raffle, PhD, HSPP, is a Licensed Health Service Professional in Psychology (Indiana License 20043200A) and Clinical and Forensic Neuropsychologist with over 3 decades of experience working directly with children, adolescents and adults with learning disabilities, ADHD, traumatic brain injuries, and sports concussions, and with elderly individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or other types of dementia. His state-of-the-art neuropsychological, psychoeducational, and psychological assessments integrate current research with an extensive background in neuropsychology, psychological disorders and educational practice. Dr. Raffle’s expert opinions are clear, effective, ethical, and unbiased.

For children, adolescents and young adults, Dr. Raffle performs psychoeducational assessments for special education services, standardized testing accommodations (SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, LSAT, MCAT, and Law School Bar Exam), college and university classroom modifications, and vocational and career placement and support. He assesses young people with acquired brain injuries (from epilepsy or seizure disorders, hydrocephalus, cancer treatment, toxic exposure, near-drowning and anoxic brain injury, or drug abuse/overdose), traumatic brain injuries (from sports injuries and football concussions, family and gang violence, or car accidents), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and other psychiatric disorders, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).

Dr. Raffle performs clinical and forensic neuropsychological testing for adults with catastrophic traumatic or acquired brain injury, toxic torts (e.g., carbon monoxide and diesel fume exposure), psychiatric disorders (e.g., schizophrenia, bipolar disorder), posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and Social Security Disability determination.

Dr. Raffle performs clinical and forensic neurocognitive assessments for seniors to confirm or rule out Alzheimer’s disease or other types of dementia (e.g., vascular dementia or frontotemporal dementia), and for cases involving conservatorship, diminished capacity, testamentary capacity, contractual capacity, undue influence, financial decisions, consent to medical care, or elder abuse.
